Drivers Contribute $107,475 in 2006

December 19, 2006 -- Petro Stopping Centers set a new record in raising $107,475 for the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in its annual Halloween Pumpkin Sale. In three year's Petro customers have donated over $285,000 to this national charity that is treating and curing children with cancer and other realted diseases.

"This effort demonstrates how compassionate truck drivers are," said Petro President Jim Cardwell.
"This annual fund raising effort for St. Judes makes a big difference in the lives of countless children and their families."
