Visit our newest facility at Exit 272 on I-90
September 26, 2006 -- EL PASO, TEXAS — Petro Stopping Centers announced today the opening of a new travel plaza in Spokane, Washington on I-90 at Exit 272. The new site gives Petro 66 locations in its nationwide network and the first in the state of Washington.
"As we looked to expand our network it was critical that we established a presence in the Pacific Northwest," said Petro Stopping Center President, Jim Cardwell. "Spokane presented us with the opportunity to construct a high quality facility from the ground up. It should become a true destination stopping center for motorists driving the western stretches of Interstate 90."
The full service travel plaza offers ten truck fueling lanes, Exxon branded gasoline and RV fueling. The site has parking for 200 trucks and offers professional driver amenities such as 11 private showers, laundry facilities, a video arcade, and a television lounge. Dining options include a full service Iron Skillet Restaurant, a Subway sandwich shop, and a wide variety of hot and cold snacks in the Travel Store. The complex also includes a five bay Petro:Lube Truck Service Center for preventative maintenance, tire sales and service, and emergency repair.
