Petro Stopping Centers Add Two Locations to Network

Petro network grows to 64 locations
December 01, 2005 -- EL PASO, TEXAS — Petro Stopping Centers, LP, announced today the opening of two new truckstop locations in Colby, KS (I-70 at Exit 53)and Gadsden, AL (I-59 at Exit 181). Both locations are Petro:2 configurations and franchise operated. These two new openings bring the size of the Petro network to 64 travel centers located in 31 states.
Michael Stuewe, Director of Petro Franchise Operations, stated "Both new Petro facilities offer a full range of amenities for professional drivers. They will help to expand the reach of our network to more drivers. We are very pleased to have them on board."
The Gadsden, AL location offers eleven truck fueling lanes and overnight parking for 275 trucks. It also features an Austin's Steak & Seafood restaurant.
The Colby, KS site has seven truck fueling lanes and overnight parking for 90 trucks. The Colby site offers several dining options including Chester Fried Chicken and Quiznos Subs. The site also has the first Starbucks located at a Petro site and Baskin Robbins Ice Cream.
